昨夜からきょうの午前中いっぱいにかけて、ヤップ島は台風06号 (NOUL)の強い雨風の影響下にありました。きのう（5月5日）の午前7時（日本時間同6時）には↓ここ↓ ふらふら蛇行しているのが心配ではありましたが、いちおうヤップ島の北を進むだろうという予想どおり、昨夜のうちは風は北から北西にまわりかけていました。 また床上浸水する恐れがあるので店にひとりで篭城し、満潮後、30センチの余裕を残して水位が下がり始めたのを見届けて、床にゴロ寝で眠りにつきました。そして…トタンを貼った窓の外をたたく波音で目を覚ましたら、なんと風が北東に！これはマズイ、台風がヤップの真上、もしくは南寄りを通...
