スーパー台風22号Nidaがヤップの北を通過中だけど、かなり距離があるので、南西の風で雲は多いが穏やかなお天気になっている。 おかげで、雨降りが心配だったスノーケリング・ツアーも楽しく執り行えて、とくにベタ凪ぎに近いナマコ・ヘブンの浅場は、透明度の良い潮水に満たされていた。切れて流れ出した海草が、南風に押されて水路の端に吹きだまっていたのもおもしろかった。 その吹き溜まりの藻の塊を抜け、サンゴで腹をこすりそうなくらい浅いところに、フィンを使わず手だけでプカプカ浮いて水中をのぞくと、なぜだかイシヨウジの集会があちこちで見られた。ふむふむ、君たちも、H1N1のワクチン接種を心配してい...
